Taxonomy

Taxonomy on Drupal is used to classify content. A site's taxonomy is made up of vocabulary which are inturn made up of terms. For example, NHMLAC's sites have vocabulary such as "Topics" which contains terms such as "Birds", "Bugs", "Cats", etc. These terms can then be used to classify content types such as "Events" and "Exhibits" in views, such as the Pages by Topic.
