Buy Tickets tool
The Buy Tickets page is a landing page that consists of a WYSIWYG for introduction text and a ticket node for the specific ticket release that is displayed.
To update the Buy Tickets page with a new ticket release, only the ticket node needs to changed. A new landing page should not be regularly created.
Creating a Ticket Release
Ticket releases are a content type. To create a new ticket node navigate to Content > Add Content >Ticket Release.
You should now see the "Create Ticket Release" page that should look something like below:
The Title of a new ticket release will not be seen by the end user, but is instead for the purposes of finding the ticket release on Drupal. All ticket release titles should follow the naming convention below:
Title naming convention: NHM - Ticket Release - mm/dd/yyyy
An example of a properly formatted title would therefore be NHM - Ticket Release - 12/05/2021
.
You can ignore the Body field below Title.
Ticket Container
The section below the Title and Body is "Ticket Container". Each Ticket Container corresponds to button date range and its child exhibits. Below is an example of a ticket container.
Button Date corresponds to the actual date range of the Choose your ticket type, as seen in the "Now - Jan 31" button in the example above.
There are four tabs in the box below "Button Date". The steps below will walk through each one of these tabs and what needs to be completed for a new ticket release node.
